GOOD TIMES in Yorkshire (on a bike)

This week’s blog post comes to you from our adventure loving, Lycra wearing, creator of all things pretty on the Joe Browns site Ben. Take it away Ben…

I’m loving the road bike at the moment, even though it’s freezing and wet outdoors.

So Sunday was a good day, kit on, including the new Magic Rock Brewery Jersey (a combination of two of my passions, beer and bikes) helmet and out on the bike.

We set off from Yeadon, heading down into Otley taking in the views of the valley, then through the back roads of Askwith (a beautiful little village on route to Ilkley).

Taking in an essential coffee stop at the Commute Coffee Shop in Ilkley.

A Mecca for cyclists, and my favourite biking café to stop at, amazing staff, awesome coffee & cakes and some really cool biking gear.

After taking in a coffee and cake we headed back out of Ilkley towards Yeadon.

It was only 20 miles but feels amazing getting out in the rolling hills with the fresh air.

It’s the perfect way to clear the mind, plus apart from driving when are you going to take in 20 miles of countryside?

Bring on the weekend, sunshine, Cycling Sportive, running events and an Olympic distance triathlon.

See you guys out on the road, obviously. Lol.
