.. It is what expected, very bright and colourful and all my daughters friends love it. I did order a bigger size as recommended by other people and i'm glad i did, it fits lovely.

Took the advice of reviews already written and bought a size bigger than i need; glad i did so because it is smaller than it should be. The coat is not going to protect you from the rain, so calling it a mac is a bit misleading but it looks great and i get compliments on it every time i wear it.

Bright and colourful, and a flattering fit, but no hood on a raincoat?! Also it feels very flimsy so I would expect it only to be showerproof, not to withstand the sort of weather we've been having recently.

Thank you for leaving us your feedback, although we are very sorry to hear that your order arrived smelling of smoke. We do our best to quality control check the goods that are received back and returned to the shelf for re-sale, but unfortunately every now and again there are the odd items that do get sent out that have not been checked thoroughly enough. We appreciate that this is simply not acceptable and can cause great inconvenience and therefore we cannot apologise enough. I'm glad i read other reviews and ordered a size bigger than i normally would, had lots of comments on my wonderful new coat! lightweight but still warm

size 16 too big and size 14 it was too small

We are sorry to have discovered that you found the sizing of the mac to be inconsistent, though, so please accept our apologies for this. A large amount of time and effort goes into ensuring that our sizes are as accurate as possible. Shopping online does sometimes involve a little trial and error in order to find the right fit, however, because one firm's size medium might be the equivalent to another shop’s size small or large. We do as much as we can to ensure that our sizes are consistent across our collection and this is an area that is continuously being reviewed. The fabric made me feel very hot and sweaty as soon as I tried it on! Loved the pattern though, shame! (and also the fact that it didn't fit, which was only down to the fact that I need to lose a bit of weight tho!)

Loved the material, but the fit was very small - i am usually a size 10 but the 12 was "snug" around the centre button. The shape however was really unflattering, with a "puffball" shape below the waist it made my hips and rear look enormous and even really truthfully they aren't normally. Such a shame as the material was fab and funky.
