Ben's Autumn Winter 2022 Top Picks

Firstly, the jeans are out and an overshirt becomes my office staple.

Now I’m not exaggerating here, but this year’s collection has to be one of the best yet. I know what you’re thinking; "he has to say that!"

But honestly it is.

Here are a few of my top picks for this season.

Everyone needs a shacket or overshirt, period. They’re the ultimate layering item that’s perfect over a plain tee or Henley.

The Aztec prints really makes the Wildside Shacket stand out, so obviously I’m buying this one ASAP!

Another pick that jumped out for me is the Cool and Collected Grandad Shirt, the subtle sleeve detailing and grandad collar of this denim shirt makes it an ideal layering piece.

When it comes to tees; less is more for me. I’d pick an oversized plain tee over a print any day. But I’ll make the exception for this remarkable back print detail on the Wild Rock Tee.

Not only am I loving this print, but the quality is spot on. It’s got that heavy, soft cotton feel with amazing quality. We all know I’ll be pulling this one out of my wardrobe time and time again.

In fact, still have my first Joe Browns tee from when I started working here eight years ago - and it’s still going strong!

The Better Than Basic Tee would be my day-to-day favourite, I always buy a size up for that oversized look, I’m all about comfort.

Great quality, ultimate versatility and some cracking style details make these tees a wardrobe must-have.

As a plus, they come in a few different colours, too. I suggest getting your go-to tones like white, black and cream to style layered looks.

Now when it comes to coats and jackets, I’m a big fan of workwear style, and the Work Hard Play Hard Coat ticks all the boxes for me.

It’s heavy enough to be your winter jacket with the use of layers, but light enough to throw on for pints at the pub. I especially love the cord collar and contrast cuff detailing.

Now everyone might be going back to regular or relaxed fit jeans, but I’m still a fan of the skinny and slim-fit jean. They’re comfortable and versatile - perfect for casual or smart occasions.

In my opinion, everyone needs a black pair and an indigo pair of the Sensational Slim Jeans. Another massive bonus is that the rinse wash that gives the jean its colour is also sustainable. What’s not to love?

The transition into autumn also means it’s time to bring out the boots, a Chelsea, brogue or hiker boot would be my first choice and I’m absolutely loving these three in particular.

I’m especially in love with the patent finish of the Premium French Apron Boots – burgundy is a must-have colour for autumn. I might just have to get these for my mate’s upcoming wedding.

I love the eyelet detail and contrasting orange stripes on the Nevada Nubuck Boots. When it comes to the Premium Leather Chelsea Boots it's easy to see why they're an ultimate staple. They'll go with anything.

Now it’s not often I’d treat myself to something extra special, but I would absolutely love one of these suede jackets.

The fact that this can be thrown over a bold shirt make it a versatile piece but with just the right amount of edge.
