Behind the scenes of our summer 2022 shoot!

Our summer photoshoot was a blast!

We weren’t able to shoot abroad last year due to covid restrictions, but with the restrictions lifted this year it meant we could pack the cases, get the crew together and head off to Lanzarote for one of the best shoots we’ve ever done.

When we touched down in sunny (and very windy) Costa Teguise, we felt the warmth as we headed off the plane and couldn't wait to get started!

With a crew of nearly 15, including photographer, models, stylists, make up artist and the Joe Browns team, we created some summer magic and had lots of fun along the way.

Day 1

We were based in a stunning villa at Lanzarote Retreats, which had fantastic sea views, a beautiful blue pool and lots more sizzling summer backdrops for our summer shoot.

Zoe, one of our fabulous models really knew how to rock our latest swimwear collection and beach accessories - she did a brilliant job keeping hold of the hat in the wind!

As always our photographer Kev, got some incredible shots, plus enjoyed working on his tan at the same time – perks of the job!

 

Behind the scenes our team work hard to create incredible images and videos for our website, catalogue, emails and social pages. Here’s Chris, our awesome videographer and Andy, our Digi  posing for a photo.

Positively perfect Paige always has a beaming smile on her face. She brightened up the whole villa modelling our new summer collection – her smile was infectious as always.

 

As the first day came to an end, we couldn’t wait to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set – what an incredible view!

It was early to bed before another jam packed day.

 

Day 2

Our models, Karen and Zoe were up bright and early for hair and make up by the lovely Leanne. We grabbed breakfast in the villa and then headed out on location to get some incredible occasion wear shots.

 

We headed to the local village to find Spanish squares, quaint little shops and white washed buildings with colourful doors. Our summer prints and bold colours looked picture perfect.

The wind didn’t make things easy but Leanne did an amazing job keeping the models hair in place - plenty of hairspray was needed!

 

We then moved to the beach to take advantage of the evening sunlight.

It’s clear from Karen’s face that the water was pretty cold but again she rocked it – always the professional!

 

As Karen splashed around in the sea, it was Zoe’s turn to model in front of the beautiful sun setting over the hills of Lanzarote – what a shot this was!

When the sun had set and we could shoot no more, we visited a delicious fish restaurant by the sea for our evening meal. The Spanish sure know how to cook.

 

Day 3

As we said goodbye to the ladies, our male models, Billy and Glen arrived for the final day of shooting. In true Joe Browns style we hired a classic Norton motorbike to get some great shots against the mountains.

 

We then moved down to the sea front and hired a Defender Jeep to really turn up the heat. Billy did a cracking job rocking our favourite new summer looks stood on top!

To celebrate the end of another remarkable shoot we enjoyed a drink on the beach and then headed back to the villa to play pool.

 

After a busy week creating incredible shots, we packed up and headed back to England.
