The pub where it all started! Simon Brown decided there and then that this remarkable spirit would make the foundations of a great brand. Joe Browns is a family-run business, founded in 1998, inspired by a group of friends enjoying a beer in a beach bar in Morfa Nefyn, North Wales, at the end of a great day on the surf. Fresh out of the sea, salt in their hair, laughing, joking and totally carefree, they were having an absolute blast. That was the essence, right there, of Joe Browns. Fun, spontaneous and free! Our womenswear collections celebrate individuality with colourful, highly detailed and flattering styles. Homeware was introduced in 2018, as a collaboration between Joe Browns and the Nbrown Group. After a hugely successful launch, we now offer two fabulously eclectic and opulent ranges each season and a garden collection in summer. Every piece is carefully curated to provide a well co-ordinated touch of interest, colour and personality to the home, whether it be for kitchen, bedroom or lounge. Homeware accounts for 6% of our sales and has been consistently experiencing growth, driven by our bold and exclusive bedding designs and our hugely sought after kitchenware. Our menswear collections are designed for straight-talking guys who live life to the full. Each season begins with a trip down memory lane, recollecting our best bike trips, gigs, waves and tales of the snow. Menswear accounts for 21% of our sales and has been consistently growing by +14% pa, driven by T-shirts, shirts and tailoring. Never bland or beige, our menswear ranges compliment our customers’ attitude to life – full of adventure and original thinking. Our prices start from £24 for graphic T’s and exit at £255 for leather jackets. The ranges are influenced by the enduring themes of Whether she is looking for key pieces to showcase her personality, or for something a little different with a few unique twists, Joe Browns offers a real alternative to the high street. She loves the timelessness of the styles and the slow fashion approach as this gives her great wearability, excellent value for money and helps her reduce her environmental impact. There are 2 main womenswear launches each season built on 2 key influences: Amazing silhouettes and prints with a nod to past eras An eclectic blend of Ibiza nights, and laid back looks Womenswear accounts for 58% of our sales, driven by coats, dresses and tops.
