This year, we wanted to create a collection that represents the feeling of slipping on that new favourite dress and meeting with friends at an occasion that creates the perfect backdrop for sun-soaked style.

We wanted the freedom for everyone to express their individual occasion style, so this season we’ve decided to march to our own beat in this collection. It’s all about floral patterns this year, so we really wanted to create something that’s vibrant and doesn’t play by the standard fashion rules.  

When curating a floral collection, we typically look at nature. While a lot of floral collections are inspired by gardens – neat, tidy, delicate and feminine – we wanted this collection to resemble feeling powerful and resilient, unpredictable and marvellous. So, we chose wildflowers to really hone in on what makes Joe Browns different. Be like a wildflower; grow where you want, look amazing for you and no one else. Therefore, we tore up the rulebook and said “Out with the palette, in with what makes people feel amazing!” Which – funnily enough – brings us to our next point... 

Bringing the wildflower wildcard element in with classic shapes and structured lines, we really brought that balance back to the collection. All you need to do is choose the colours and patterns you know you look good in and add the accessories that you love. Are you loving bold, dramatic florals? We've got them. Delicate ditsy prints?
