Freedom is the ability to escape the everyday, get out of your own head and truly relax.​
And in complete honesty I’ve never felt more free than when I’m out riding the bike. Now I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s true. ​The freedom you feel whilst traveling a large distance using your own steam is life changing.​

A car gets you from A to B, but most of that time is filled with stress! A bicycle can get you from A to Z with everything in-between.​ The sun on your skin, the wind through your hair (what’s left of it) and the ability to explore. That’s my freedom.​

When was the last time your truly took in your surroundings in a car? ​Let’s be honest, the driver is looking at the road and the passenger is spend most of their time glued to a phone screen. But the bike is the perfect way of disconnection from your phone to explore the great outdoors. 

Most drivers hate us, but that’s the stress of driving. If everyone could get out on a bike for a real ride they would see the appeal.

The bicycle has given me the ability to see parts of the world in a way I never imagined, it’s been hard work but that’s the appeal. ​Knowing you have put the work in is part of the pay off. It’s the perfect way to de-stress and put life into perspective, it’s been a leveller in my life, getting me through some hard times.

Exploration on two wheels, that’s what freedom means to me.
