Your contract for purchases made through is with Joe Browns Limited and you undertake that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for resale.

Joe Browns Limited tracks the electronic 'fingerprints' of every order placed on to enable us, and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities, to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website.

Joe Browns Limited reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you and to suspend or terminate your access to the site immediately and without notice to you if:

  • You fail to make payment to us when due.
  • You breach any of our terms and conditions.
  • When requested by us to do so, you fail to provide within a reasonable time frame, sufficient information to enable us to determine the accuracy and validity of any information supplied by you, or your identity.

When placing an order, you warrant that all information given is accurate and complete.

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.

Availability information for products is listed on each individual product description. If Joe Browns Limited has insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered, we will not charge your credit or debit card until your goods are being despatched.

Where an estimated despatch date has been provided in relation to an item that is temporarily out of stock, the date given is subject to change with little or no notice and refers to the date that we expect to be able to despatch the item to you rather than the date of when you can expect the item to arrive with you.

All prices listed on are correct at the time of entering the information; however, we reserve the right to change prices of any product at any time. All prices include sales tax. Where an item price is discounted, the "was" price refers to the original selling price of that item whereby such item was offered for sale on for a period of more than 28 consecutive days. This "was" price will always refer to the original selling price and does not reflect any subsequent or intermediate price reductions that may have been applied to the item.

Only one promotional code can be redeemed against any one order. Promotional codes cannot be redeemed against orders that have been submitted to us via an affiliate website, unless the promotional code is used in lieu of any benefits that have been offered by the affiliate partner.

We will not charge your credit card until the point of despatch of the goods; therefore no contract for the sale of any product will exist between you and Joe Browns Limited until we accept your order by despatching the product to you. When this happens we will confirm the acceptance by sending you an email.

This confirmation email will be sent to the email address given in your order form and will detail products ordered, payment method, cost (including VAT and P&P) and usual delivery times.

You must check all the details on this confirmation email are correct and contact us as soon as possible if any details are incorrect.

If your order has not been accepted, we will endeavour to contact you to explain the reasons why.

The delivery period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. If you are ordering more than one item, your goods may be sent to you in instalments if certain items are out of stock.

If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information. Also note that, unfortunately, we may have to wait up to 18 working days (or 25 working days for overseas orders) before we are able to issue refunds or replacement items for any parcels that might have been lost or delayed during transit.

During our sale period, it may take longer than usual for some orders to be despatched. If placed online, your order status can be tracked in the My Account section of our website.

Orders despatched to myHermes ParcelShop locations should arrive at your chosen ParcelShop within no more than seven working days once we have despatched your parcel.
If you have chosen to provide us with a mobile telephone number and that number is listed in the 'mobile' field then you should receive an SMS text message from Hermes once your parcel has arrived at your chosen ParcelShop. Where a mobile telephone number has not been listed in the 'mobile' field, we will endeavour to contact you ourselves via email.
You have ten days from the date of your parcel arriving at your chosen ParcelShop to collect your goods - if you do not collect your order within ten days of it arriving at your chosen ParcelShop then it will be returned to us.
It is imperative that you take one of the following documents when collecting your order from the ParcelShop - you will not be able to retrieve your order unless you can provide the ParcelShop operators with one of these documents:

  • Credit/debit card
  • Foreign ID card
  • Passport
  • Photo driving license
  • Photo ID card
  • UK driving license

Additionally, parcels cannot be collected by anybody other than the person named on the parcel's address label.
If you do not collect your order within ten days of it arriving at your chosen ParcelShop and it is returned to us then we will upon receipt of your parcel either issue you with a refund or contact you to discuss whether you would like for the parcel to be despatched for a second time.
We strongly suggest contacting your chosen ParcelShop prior to making a special journey to collect your parcel if you are in any doubt about their opening times etc.

Next Day delivery applies to UK orders placed before 5pm and where the delivery surcharge of £2 (a total P&P charge of £4) has been paid. Orders despatched via our next day delivery partners will be delivered to mainland UK addresses within one working day once despatched. Orders received by us before 5pm on Fridays will be delivered on the following Monday. Orders received after 17:00 on Fridays will be delivered on the following Tuesday. This is not a guaranteed service for selected postcodes - see the list of postcodes below where we exclusions apply. Next day delivery is not available to the Republic of Ireland.

A signature maybe required when using this service. If the first attempt to deliver fails then delivery will be attempted on two further occasions. Further attempts will not incur additional charges. On each occasion, a card will be left with a telephone number to call so that delivery can be reattempted. Alternatively, it can be arranged for the parcel to be delivered to an alternative address or collected from the nearest collection point by calling the telephone number on the delivery card.

Where the £2 surcharge has been paid, any back-ordered items will be sent via next day delivery once the stock becomes available. Where an initial order has been sent via next day delivery and the goods then returned to us, any exchange items will be sent via our standard delivery service.

All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

When you submit an order to us, we will attempt to "authorise" the amount of your order with your bank or credit card provider. If the authorisation is successful, the funds will be reserved against your payment card. Only when we despatch the goods will the funds be taken from your account.

Joe Browns Limited also accepts payments by personal cheque or by postal order. These should be made payable to Joe Browns Ltd. Please allow up to 10 working days for all cheques to clear.

Klarna Pay in 3

Klarna allows you to split your purchase into three equal payments so that you can spread the cost of your purchase over time. Simply, enter your credit or debit card details and make automatic payments every 30 days, until the cost of your order is completed. Your first instalment will be collected at the time your order has been confirmed by Joe Browns, then your second and third instalments are scheduled for 30 and 60 days later, respectively. There is no interest or fees.

Am I eligible for Klarna?

This payment option is available for customers aged 18 or over, on orders over £35. Klarna may carry out a limited credit search on you at a credit reference agency. This search will not affect your credit score or your chances of obtaining a credit in future. Please provide accurate information during the checkout process to support this process. If a search is not carried out, then Klarna will validate your card and requesting authorisation from your card issuer.

Do Klarna use any personal information?

We will securely share aspects of your personal data with Klarna, to process your payment. You can view Klarna’s Privacy Notice and see how your personal data is used, for example to identify you and perform customer analysis, credit assessments, marketing, and business development.

What happens if I want to cancel my order?

If you have placed your order and you wish to cancel it, please contact Joe Browns’ Customer Care team on 0113 270 6655 as soon as possible and we will endeavour to cancel it. If your order has already been processed, then the team will take you though the cancellation and return options available to you in line with Joe Browns’ cancellation/returns policy. As soon as Joe browns have accepted your cancellation/return, then Klarna will cancel the statement or refund your payment. The return will be reflected in the Klarna app immediately.

All non-promotional gift vouchers, i.e. gift vouchers that have been purchased in exchange for cash or that have been issued by us to you as a form of goodwill gesture, will expire 6 months after the date of first being issued.

Gift vouchers can only be redeemed against purchases made with Joe Browns Ltd and only when the order is submitted via our telephone sales line or online via; gift vouchers will not be redeemable against orders placed via any other channel.

You will be expected to provide payment to cover the outstanding balance where the value of a gift voucher does not cover the full value of the order being placed including P&P charges where applicable. The gift voucher must be submitted prior to you completing the ordering process; gift vouchers cannot be applied retrospectively to an order after the point of you submitting your order.

If you return a purchase for a refund and that purchase was originally paid for with a combination of a gift voucher and another form of payment such as a debit or credit card payment then a monetary refund will be issued up to a maximum value of the monetary payment that you paid initially. If the value of the goods being returned exceeds the full monetary payment that you made to us initially then the balance of the refund owed to you will be issued in the form of a new gift voucher. If the goods being returned were paid for solely with a gift voucher then a refund will be issued in the form of a new gift voucher. If a gift voucher is cancelled or returned to us for a refund then only the person who purchased the gift voucher will be issued with a refund; no refund will be paid to the recipient of the gift voucher. A gift voucher can only be returned for a full refund prior to any of its value being redeemed; refunds will not exceed the unspent balance of a gift voucher.

If the value of the goods that you purchase is lower than the overall value of the gift voucher then the unspent balance will remain on the gift voucher for 6 months after the date of issue.

A gift voucher cannot be used in order to purchase another gift voucher.

Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for their cash value.

If we have not already begun processing your order at the point of us receiving your request then your cancellation request will be honoured immediately upon our receipt of your request and no payment will be taken

If we have begun processing your order, you must return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of your decision to cancel your order (please see our returns procedure for more information).

If you cancel your order, we will refund all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery of the goods to you (except for any supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), by re-crediting them to the debit or credit card that you used to pay. The goods you return must be in the same condition that they were when delivered to you. Obviously this allows you to try the garments on, but we would ask you leave all labelling in place wherever possible.

We will process your refund no later than:

  • 14 days after the day we received back from you any goods supplied; or
  • (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods to the address given above; or
  • if the goods were not sent to you, 14 days after the day on which you tell us that you wish to cancel the order (where debit or credit card payments are concerned, no payment is taken for an order that is cancelled prior to us despatching any goods to you).

You will be liable to any charges incurred when returning the goods to Joe Browns Limited, unless the return is as a result of an error on our part, or you use one of our free returns services (see Returns Procedures section below).

However, please be aware that due to a number of mitigating factors such as Internet browsers and monitor colour contrasts colours may appear to vary slightly from the product as it appears on your screen and we cannot be held responsible or liable for any minor colour discrepancies between the image and the actual product.

The products sold on are provided for private domestic and consumer use only. Accordingly, we do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the Site or for any products or services purchased from Joe Browns Limited.

In the event that you do not receive an order that we have despatched to you and you fail to contact us to report this to us within 30 days then we will not be held liable for any losses incurred; you must report the non-delivery of goods within 30 days of us despatching those goods to you, else we may refuse to issue a refund against those goods or replace those goods at no additional cost to you.

Nothing in the Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death of personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our servants, agents or employees.

  • ‘ParcelShop drop-off’ option (label you print from our returns page, return to a myHermes ParcelShop — UK only)

We reserve the right to not cover the cost of returning goods to us if you do not use one of these options. Please contact us prior to returning your goods if you are returning goods from the UK, Republic of Ireland or France and cannot use one of these free returns options.
