We love to take classic styles and make them our own- and we know you do too! That's why this year's Spring Summer Collection features so many gorgeous customised and embroidered pieces, designed to have you turning heads wherever you go! 

Our Fabulous Floral Embroidered Jeans are one of our favourite styles this season. So, we went behind the seams with one of our remarkable designers to discover the story behind our embroidered jeans.

"There's a massive craft movement in the fashion industry at the moment, and a shout for customisation." Peter explained, "So, we were inspired by this idea of taking our more traditional jeans and breathing new life into them." 

We started off by creating the denim jeans, giving them a bootcut shape and a dark wash for that worn, lived-in feel. Then, after creating some mock-up trims and finalising the design, Peter hand-stitched the intricate floral embroidery onto the denim, bringing a truly personalised look to the jeans.

"They were designed for someone who likes to stand out. It's the kind of style people will notice and remark on." Said Peter, when we asked who he envisioned wearing the embroidered jeans.

With their dark wash, our designers wanted them to feel like an old pair of plain jeans that you'd revived with your own patches and hand-stitched embroidery.

What makes these trousers so special is that they can be worn by women of all ages, and across a range of styles. "Our jeans are full of attitude, but the embroidery is pretty and feminine. It's really quite a romantic style."

"Our jeans are quite bold, so you'll want pair them with something calm to balance out the look." Peter advised. "Go for a simple white blouse or a graphic tee in the summer, and a knitted jumper or cardigan on cooler days. If you do prefer a more colourful look, you could pair them with one of our pinstripe shirts."

Depending on your sense of style, you can go boho or vintage. We'd recommend flowy blouses in earthy colours to achieve that free-spirited, retro mood. Finish the look off with a slouchy leather bag and some embossed leather heels.

"We always aim for authenticity." Peter told us, when we asked what makes Joe Browns jeans different. "If it's a vintage jean, it should look authentically vintage."
