The Joe Browns Christmas Party: Canapes, Competitions And Catwalks!

We kicked-off the Christmas festivities last Thursday night with our first blogger event at our brand-new store!
Bloggers and VIP customers from all across West Yorkshire braved the cold to join us in Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield to get a glimpse of our inspiring flagship store as well as an exclusive peek at some Spring Summer styles not available until January!
“Joe Browns is cool, it’s just so unique!” said Jessica, blogger of Heart Shaped Bones.
The party started in full swing with drinks, nibbles and plenty of chat about everything Joe Browns and our guests were treated to goody bags filled with lots of cool Joe Browns treats.
The popular pick a button competition was brought back to life which meant one lucky winner won a huge £250 Joe Browns voucher (Which went down pretty well to say the least)!
The store looked amazing (even if we do say so ourselves) decked out in our new Christmas range and was admired by our guests who loved all the hidden gems and decorations.
Tracey, who writes The Naughty Forty Diaries said: “Seeing the clothes in store really brings them to life!”
After a quick Q&A session with the founder of Joe Browns, Simon Brown, on how the original idea of Joe Browns first came about and how it’s become such a success, guests were treated to a fabulous catwalk show where models strutted their stuff wearing items from the new collection. Here are our favourite looks from the show:
We really loved the Cosy Polar Bear Jumper (£44.95) paired with Joe’s Jeggings (£24.95), Statement Long Boots (£54.95) and the look was finished off with Christmas Pudding Ear Muffs (£17.95). An extra special Christmas outfit!
Our model Fiona rocked the Wrap Up Velvet Party Dress (£44.95). It also comes in black which will make the perfect LBD for any party! The red version was put with Chrissie’s Favourite Velvet Boots (£44.95) which worked so well.
How stunning did Kimberly look wearing the Sophisticated Check Coat (£99.95)? It was teamed with Key To My Heart Velvet Shoes (£39.95) and the Mystic Enchantment Velvet Bag (£29.95).
Troy turned up the heat wearing the Lightning T-Shirt (£22.95), Joe’s Skinny Jeans (£34.95) and Must Have Oiled Leather Boots (£69.95). This awesome look was topped off with the Retro Stripe Leather Jacket (£199.00) which was a truly show stopping piece.
Pete really worked the effortless layered look wearing the In The Woods Jumper (£39.95) and the Longchamp Parka (£89.95) over the top. This was matched with Slim Joe Jeans (£42.95) and All New Vintage Brogues(£59.95) to give a totally individual look.
Guests also got a sneak peek at some of our new summer styles which aren’t available until 2018! It has us all dreaming of sunny weather while it was a chilly 3 degrees outside.
