In August we shot our brand-new Christmas collection at Scampston Hall in North Yorkshire.

The grand stately home in Malton is surrounded by stunning walled gardens, making it the perfect location for us to have a jolly good time and create amazing shots!

Shooting a Christmas collection at the end of summer is never easy, as there was blue skies and sunshine all week but, with an incredible crew, fabulous models and a touch of Joe Browns magic, we created something very special for the festive season!

Keep reading to see what we got up to on our latest photoshoot…

Day 1

We started with shooting our stunning new winter dresses and knitwear on our wonderful new model, Mathilde, who had flown in from Copenhagen. Our pop up changing tent  always comes in handy when we are needing our models to do a quick change!

As a bonus, we were mid-shoot when a little robin came to say hello… if that’s not a good sign it’s going to be a fantastic Christmas photoshoot, we don’t know what is!

While we were shooting in the walled gardens, our very talented Visual Merchandiser, Liam, was creating something special in the woodland area.

We wanted to bring an opulent indoors setting into the outdoors to give our shoot a unique Joe Browns twist. There were lanterns and chandeliers hanging from the trees, as well as furniture covered in Christmas florals.

Here, we shot statement jackets and party outfits to help you celebrate the road to revelry.

As with our remarkable clothing, it’s all about the detail on our photoshoots.

Our team always work hard to make sure everything looks perfect! Leanne, our hair & makeup artist and Cara, our stylist were always on hand to add those all-important finishing touches and - as always - our model Paige looked flawless.

Day 2

On the morning of day two, we had two new arrivals. Our beautiful new model Klaudia and a vintage car.

She was a breath of fresh air and turned heads as she walked out in the new  What A Statement Longline Coat. We instantly knew this was the making of a cover shot!

Next it was time for full-on Christmas fun! The trees were bursting with decorations, the presents were piled high and it was time for the festive pieces to be shot.

After our photographer, Kev had worked his magic taking the shots, the images go straight through to our Digi, Andy, who sorts and saves them all.

Klaudia looked fabulous swishing around in our new devore dresses for the party season! The opulent stately home was the perfect background to show off these stunning pieces, don’t you agree?

We even had a real Christmas tree on the day! (Tracking this down in August was no easy task!) Paige had a lot of fun, dragging the tree for one of the shots, while Klaudia embraced Christmas novelty and snow with style.

Day 3

It was time for menswear on the final day and our models, Billy and Glen arrived ready to get the party started.

It was also time for the arrival of another vintage car  and a bike… Obviously it wouldn’t be a Joe Browns shoot without one!

We can’t finish this blog without mentioning the Butler, Craig. He looked after us during our time there and was full of wonderful stories and history about Scampston Hall.

A big thanks to Scampston Hall and our incredible team for helping us create the best Christmas shoot yet!

We hope you’ve enjoyed seeing behind the scenes from our Christmas shoot and are looking forward to shopping the new Christmas collection!
