Eye-spy Punch

Leave your guests mesmer-eyes-ed, with this ghoulishly gruesome punch, promised to liven up the party. And with the option of a cocktail or a mocktail, this is truly one for the whole family to enjoy!

Eye-Spy Punch

What You’ll Need:

Fresh or canned, drained lychees

Blueberries

Red wine

Cranberry juice

Water or sparkling water

Ice

Red gel food colouring, optional

Small artist’s brush

Method:

Step 1: To make the ‘eyeballs’, place two blueberries inside each lychee, so that they remain visible, yet secure. Prepare as many as you’ll need for your cocktails. As long as these are stored in an airtight container, they can be kept in the refrigerator overnight.

Step 2: Prepare your creepy cocktail glasses before filling each one with 150ml of wine. If it’s a mocktail you’re making, swap out the wine for 250ml of cranberry juice. Pour over ice and top up the glasses with sparkling water. Place your pre-prepared eyeballs into your drink. For an extra-creepy touch, mix your red gel colouring in a bowl with water to create a thick consistency. Grab your brush and carefully paint blood trails over the lychees and serve!
