It wouldn’t be St Patrick's day without an Irish Whiskey cocktail recipe! For this cocktail we were inspired by the bright green colour of our (very on theme) Sally’s Statement Suit Jacket.

We also wanted to make it a sweet one for the inner child within us – who doesn’t love an excuse to raid the sweet aisle?! See the recipe below...

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

50ml Irish Whisky ⁠
25ml Peach Schnapps ⁠
75ml Pineapple Juice ⁠
50ml Lime Sparkling Soda ⁠
Green food colouring ⁠
Ice Cubes ⁠
Mint leaves (for garnish) ⁠
Rainbow belt sticks (for garnish) ⁠

 

METHOD:

1. Get your cocktail shaker at the ready and filled with ice.

2. To this add your Irish whiskey, peach schnapps, pineapple juice and green food colouring.

3. Give this a shake – Irish jig whilst shaking is optional!

4. Now turn your attention to your glass and add some ice to that.

5. Strain in the green concoction from your shaker.

6. Top with sparkling water.

7. Garnish with a sprig of mint and any sugary sweets you deem fit. For an extra fancy look like us, fold a rainbow belt sweet onto a cocktail stick and balance on the rim for 10/10 presentation.
